The alkaloids chelerythrine, norchelerythrine, oxyavicine, canthine-6-one, 4,5-dihydrocanthin-6-one, and gamma-fagarine were isolated from Zanthoxylum dimorphophyllum bark, together with two coumarins, scoparone and dimoxylin.
